WHO IS BETTER: WHITE OR BLACK?

Everyone here on earth is born with empty hands! That’s why clothes and other stuff are bought for welcoming the newcomer of this world-a newborn baby. Whether the baby is black, white, yellow, or red, it is still a human baby, showing the need for warmth and care especially from the parent! Especially, the baby is given a name by the parent according to who they think the baby is or will be or wish to be! This identity portrayed in the name is often misleading, because a child may be called a name indicating richness and the child be put down by the poverty, or any other circumstance different from the name thought!

Many people think they are who they think they are and some, from this perspective, give themselves a certain identity—rich or poor, intelligent or stupid, wise or unwise, beautiful/handsome or ugly, fat or thin, tall or short, etcetera. Others due to life circumstances call themselves lucky or miserable, winners or losers, famous or notorious, preys or predators, etcetera! Many times when confused, you may move astray and ask yourself, who am I?

How did you call yourself when you failed a certain exam? Hmmm well, a loser! What happened when you succeeded in the following exam? Wow, a winner! Who are you really, a loser or a winner? Well, I am challenging you with my small but thoughtful questions! What happened to you when you met a giant in your life? Giants are many; bosses, leaders, teachers, billionaires, managers, superstars, music stars, movie actors, and many other people advancing your social, financial, or political status. How often did you think of their origin-they were born too. All those giants are not extra-terrestrial! They all have red blood cells and need to survive just as you do!

We are often used to identify ourselves with who we think we are, who others think we are or who life makes us! But this is a bad reference. We are not the product of others’ sight or the sunglasses they use to see! Our identity is not based on our CV or how much we earn, how many twitter followers we have, or Facebook likes or comments or any other thing else. We are not even who the parents call us by our names.

No matter who this life may entitle us, our true identity is that we are the offspring of SOMEONE beyond this life—called GOD. Amazingly, everyone was created—or was born—unique and different from the other both outward and inward. These differences are not for conflicts but for the accomplishment of the purpose of the Creator! Everyone was given potentials that are to be used for GOD’s purpose fulfillment in this world!

When studying embryology—dealing with what happens for a human to be formed—we become amazed beyond measure! How can it be that just one ovule be fertilized by just one spermatozoid while millions were produced? This topic—though studied in schools—is really beyond our small brain capacity! Millions of spermatozoids fighting for just one ovule and the union of these two microscopic cells form an embryo—the future human we see! That microscopic embryo expands both in size and potentials and become a living unique creature different from what it might have been if a different spermatozoid or ovule would have been fertilized!

I don’t understand why atheism exists with such eye-striking proofs regarding our identity! Denying these facts is really masking the truth—blinding ourselves. Though the world has emerged with the evolution theories—denying the SUPREME CREATOR—we should pause and reflect on those facts of life! The facts don’t sound religious or denomination-oriented, but the fact is rooted in just our living.

We are not just rich nor poor, intelligent nor stupid, leaders nor followers, lucky nor miserable, tall nor short, fat nor thin, nor any other circumstantial identity. Our identity is far beyond that! Each and every one of us is GOD’S UNIQUE CREATURE—endowed with unique potentials to be used purposefully. Live life as unique and with specificity! Live your life as YOU and don’t let others live for YOU or live in YOU anyhow!
